We are continuously working on adding to our
collection
of USAF A-1 Skyraider images.
Many of us who
flew the A-1 Skyraider in combat took photos of the airplane
we loved and trusted... the one that
brought us home safely mission after mission. Several of us
have shared our Skyraider images for this website,
skyraider.org.
If you have A-1 images that you are willing to share, we are
interested in scanning and restoring them to their
original color whenever possible. We can work with negatives,
both black and white and color, or 35mm color slides,
or photo prints. We will not keep them, unless you do
not wish them returned, but we will scan each image and return
the originals to you with the scanned
images on a data DVD for you to keep forever. Please
specify the number of data DVDs you would like as they
are easy to duplicate.
If you have USAF A-1 Skyraider images that you are willing to
share, please contact me, the Skyraider dot org webmaster,
for details on how this process works. There will be no cost
to you other than postage for mailing the material to me.
We will process the images and return them plus the data DVD
using the same method of shipment that you chose.
